This package is designed to investigate the history of the radio play, the role that music played in that idiom and how Jeff Wayne musically portrayed one of the worlds’ most famous radio plays, ―War of the Worlds. This package engages the students through the use of a Powerpoint presentation to introduce and excite the students. It contains activities that develop the students listening, playing and music reading and writing skills. There are opportunities for whole class and small ensemble performances.  All worksheets are included in the package. You will need to purchase a approved copy of the War of the Worlds Version by Jeff Wayne. This is available for Digital Download from iTunes globally.
