HI I’m Kerri Lacey – a Music Teacher who is passionate about teaching. I am a Secondary Music Teacher with over 23 years experience and my sole purpose in life it to teach.
Welcome my home – Klerrisa Custom Music – an educational portal designed to help Music Teachers and students alike. The aim of KCM is to provide quality teaching materials and support for entertainers and educators.
It is here that you can find classroom teaching resources on a variety of topics ranging from Music and other Cultures to Traditional musical forms.
I specialise in resources that can be included into any existing program, however, most resources can be taught as entire units of work. All of my resources contain all the necessary documents and guidelines to execute the activities.
Most come with the audio recordings an/or videos to assist in the teaching process. With the intended release of the Australian Curriculum, all of the resources have been restructured to align with this program in readiness for it’s introduction into Australian Schools.
I started this business because, like me, so many of us have to create our own resources. There is just not enough out there that we can tailor to our students.
Music is a fluid subject and every group of students we teach require a completely different angle. With the advances in technology, the sky is the limit with what we can do now.
WORK WITH ME
As I said earlier, my whole purpose in life is to teach. So why not take advantage of that. I run informal, informative workshops that can be for you and/or your students. I really enjoy passing on all those tips and tricks that I have discovered over the years. We should be working together rather than reinventing the wheel. There are a couple of ways you can access me:
- organise a workshop for your faculty or your students
- join the access area, like the facebook page, or subscribe to my youtube channel, for all the free resources designed to help you
- jump on board when we launch the new online courses
- contact me to discuss how I can help
So stay connected and let’s work together to make music education rule.
