What’s in the Box – New Series

What’s in the Box – New Series

Hey everyone,  Due to popular demand… which usually means my students need something, I am creating a new series called “What’s in the Box”. One of the strategies that I use with my students is to ask them to house their information about various topics in “boxes in their brains”. That way, when they need the information they just pull out the box and all the content is in there for them to use when listening to a piece of music. I just created the first instalment – it’s about the Baroque Period. It is designed to be a refresher not necessarily have everything in it. It is also for the students who are predominantly visual and best supports those who have a double strength in visual and language.

I have published it to Youtube and there is an accompanying PDF. It is just a copy of the presentation so please feel free to download it and distribute it to your classes. Please share it with your colleagues and let me know if there is a topic that you need and I will do something about it.

I have used Klerrisa’s resources for many years and have always found them to be highly beneficial as they work! You can open them up and start teaching knowing that they have been thoroughly prepared and tested in the classroom. Students respond well to them as they experience success and fun whilst learning. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I highly recommend the resource material on the Klerrisa Custom Music website. Both Kerri and Lisa are excellent educationalists, presenters and musically talented professionals.
